by 3 full time physicians, a part time physician, a nurse practioner, a
chiropractor, and a physiotherapist.
Medical offices are staffed and furnished. Reasonable

Yarmouth
Regional Hospital is approximately 3/4 hour away. Both hospitals
are operated by the District 2 Health Authority which provides health
care
in Shelburne, Yarmouth, and Digby Counties.

within a couple
of minutes of the Health Centre as well as a heliport. COMMUNITY DESCRIPTION Shelburne County, on Nova Scotia's beautiful South Shore, includes Cape Sable Island, which has the most southern saltwater beaches in Canada. The County is connected to the rest of the province by a 100 series highway and is part of the scenic Lighthouse Route. Halifax is only a two and one-half hours' drive. The general climate is modified by the Atlantic Ocean. In Spring and Summer, the numerous coastal beaches, lakes, and rivers can be enjoyed to their utmost. The population of Shelburne County approximates 16,300 with 6,260 households. |

Lockeport, and Shelburne).
